Job summary

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and performs basic repairs on mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems
• Responds to work requests or trouble calls promptly and professionally
• Conducts routine inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety compliance
• Ensures maintenance work adheres to healthcare codes and regulations
• Maintains records of maintenance activities including work orders and hours
• Collaborates with hospital staff to minimize disruption to patient care
• Assists in inventory management and procurement of supplies
• Provides weekend and emergency staff relief as needed
• Completes documentation of preventive maintenance and regulatory tasks
• Reports malfunctions to supervisor and acts in emergencies
• Ensures proper handoffs for unresolved calls
• Performs other duties as assigned
