Qualifications

• Technical training in facility maintenance or related field.
• 1–2 years of facilities maintenance experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and performs basic repairs on mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems, as well as hospital-specific equipment.
• Responds promptly to work requests or trouble calls and completes tasks efficiently.
• Conducts routine inspections to identify problems or safety hazards, ensuring compliance with healthcare codes.
• Maintains maintenance records including work orders, materials used, and hours worked.
• Collaborates with hospital staff to minimize disruptions to patient care and operations.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and assists in procurement.
• Provides weekend and emergency staff relief as needed.
• Completes preventive maintenance documentation and regulatory tasks.
• Reports malfunctions to supervisor and acts quickly in emergencies.
• Ensures proper handoff of unresolved calls for follow-up.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
