Job summary

Premier is seeking a Hospital Supply Distribution Center Supervisor in Boston to oversee daily operations, receiving, sizing and distributing medical supplies, and staff scheduling. You will manage the central stores, par levels, replenishment, and cross-department coordination to ensure timely, accurate delivery of materials across the medical center.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in hospital receiving/inventory control, strong communication skills, and experience with MMIS/IT systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in receiving, inventory control and distribution in a hospital or similar setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to supervise staff and interact with internal customers.
• Proficient with Materials Management Information Systems and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all SDC employees, including scheduling and assigning staff for receiving, inventory, and distribution of materials.
• Monitors department performance and completes annual evaluations; provides training opportunities.
• Oversees delivery of incoming materials to locations across the medical center and coordinates returns of damaged items.
• Oversees daily par area management and replenishment across hospital locations to ensure timely supply of medical and surgical items.
• Supports development and administration of plans, policies, and procedures for the SDC.
