Job summary

Mission Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Facility Supply Chain Supervisor to lead and direct all supply chain activities on-site. You will oversee receiving, distributing, replenishment, and inventory management, and maintain safety stock levels across storerooms and stock locations.

The role supports coordinating staff, managing performance, and driving cost-efficient supply chain solutions while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or similar field Preferred.
• Three to Five years’ material management experience. Required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the on-site processing, inventory and delivery of all orders.
• Assists with coordinating, managing, and evaluating supply chain personnel.
• Create a supportive environment for supply chain staff development and the delivery of supply chain solutions.
• Raise and resolve facility-based supply chain issues and improvement opportunities.
• Prepares schedule for the on-site operations.
• Attends in-service presentations, and completes mandatory education week, including infection control, patient safety, quality improvements, MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Demonstrates knowledge of occurrence reporting system and utilizes system to report potential patient safety issues.
• Process all lost charge reports and resolves any and all discrepancies.
• Is authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices.
