Zusammenfassung

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to manage receiving, keying, and distribution of supplies within the facility, maintain Min/Max safety stock, and perform regular physical inventories of POU areas.

The role requires delivering supplies accurately, transporting medications as needed, and ensuring proper barcode labeling. Experience in hospital supply and stock control is preferred, with routine QA and emergency handling responsibilities.

Qualifikationen

• High School Graduate / GED.
• Previous stock clerk experience preferred.
• Some hospital supply experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Deliver supplies in an accurate and timely manner.
• Authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the position.
• Place safety stock in proper location.
• Receive expedited deliveries and enter receiving in SMART system, and deliver to appropriate departments.
• Receive all cross-docked items into SMART as appropriate.
• Review Min/Max for storeroom safety stock daily and place orders accordingly.
• Count par level areas (POU areas) weekly according to schedule.
• Ensure POU items have the appropriate barcodes.
• Perform QA random checks on totes per approved policy.
• Rotate stock in POU and backup storeroom areas to prevent expiration.
• Check after-hour logs for charges and prevent recurrence.
• React to POU 'critical point' messages and stockouts appropriately.
• Process 'returns to vendor' or 'returns to backup stock' as needed.
• Provide assistance to POU Station personnel and nurses stations with problems or questions.
