Job summary

Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to support department staffing and scheduling. You will collaborate with the CNO and leadership to post schedules on time and adjust staffing in real time to meet needs while controlling costs.

Responsibilities include evaluating agency personnel, updating the Vendor Management System, and reconciling invoices with Finance. A fast-paced team environment and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
Experience in healthcare preferred, preferably in an acute care setting.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Staffing and scheduling support for assigned departments in collaboration with CNO and Department Leadership.
Meet schedule posting deadlines according to hospital policy or CBA.
Schedule staff in a productive and cost-effective manner using staffing strategies.
Forecast staffing needs to avoid emergencies and adapt to real-time changes.
Support review and approval of supplemental agency personnel and manage VMS records.
