Job summary

River Oaks Hospital, part of the UHS family, seeks a Staffing Coordinator to manage daily nursing staffing and coordinate PTO coverage within a private psychiatric facility serving all ages. The role includes collaborating with nursing management to optimize schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and at least two years of hospital staffing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a hospital with staffing/scheduling responsibilities for all shifts for clinical and nursing personnel; may consider business office/human resources in health care.
• May be required to work overtime, weekends and/or flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective daily staffing for the nursing department and review assignments with nursing management.
• Assist with processing PTO requests and ensuring coverage for employees taking PTO including calls-ins/absences to ensure coverage.
• Assist in correcting/editing staff time in the UKG system.
