Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic computer competency.
• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Responsibilities

• The Staffing Coordinator facilitates the daily allocation of nursing personnel, utilizing general staffing guidelines (as approved by Nursing Directors) and knowledge of personnel's skill level.
• The position coordinates additional activities centrally located in the Nursing Administration Office and promotes and maintains a professional image at all times.
• The Staffing Coordinator will also be competent in using systems throughout the facility and contract management system.
• They will assist in applying the appropriate room accommodation codes and communicate any problems immediately to the House Supervisor.
