Requires state licensure as an SLP; CCC-SLP preferred and must be obtained within one year. On-site hospital setting with competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of current practice.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred at hire and required within one year.
• BLS certification preferred upon hire or required within 30 days for certain sites.

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals, patient conditions, and histories to determine therapy needs.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop discharge plans.
• Administer SSA/SLP treatments tailored to patient needs.
• Design rehab programs for language, swallowing, cognition, and memory.
• Educate families on home therapy continuation.
• Collaborate with health care team and participate in care conferences.
