Role Overview

The Hospital Service Technician is responsible for equipment management tasks within the hospital to keep equipment flowing efficiently. The HST should focus on continual improvement of our products and services, maintaining professional relationships with hospital staff, and acting as a customer service subject-matter expert.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver equipment to patient rooms or standby locations in ready condition with all necessary accessories and disposables.
2. Communicate confidently with clinical staff about equipment features and functionalities.
3. Provide quality service, meet quality standards, and achieve customer and company metrics.
4. Pick up, clean, and process equipment for patient use, following protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required; hospital experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours.
• Ability to lift/push up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, kneel, sit, and stand as needed.

Location and Compensation

Primary Location: Princeton Medical Center, Plainsboro, New Jersey.

Pay Range: $14.99 - $22.81/hour, depending on experience and location.
