What this job involves

The HVAC Service Technician will focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment on all HVAC systems. Candidates are expected to be multi-skilled in all areas (Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing) to successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments.

What is your day to day?

1. Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other systems and equipment.
2. Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, building interiors/exteriors, grounds, and production equipment.
3. Familiarize with equipment and methods, including building automation and fire/life safety systems.
4. Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions affecting occupancy and operations.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Work Requirements & Conditions

1. Lifting up to 80 lbs.
2. Working from heights and in adverse conditions.
3. Climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working overhead.
4. Driving long distances.
5. Climbing ladders up to 30 feet, carrying tools.
6. Availability for 24x7 on-call rotation.

Desired experience and technical skills

Required

• High School diploma or GED, technical training or degree.
• Universal EPA/CFC license.
• At least four years of experience in building engineering, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related maintenance.

Preferred

• Trades school or apprenticeship in electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, or related crafts.

Compensation

Estimated annual salary: $49,920.00 - $68,640.00 USD. This range is an estimate and not guaranteed. Offers depend on education, experience, skills, location, and market data.
