Job summary

ProMedica Fremont Memorial Hospital is seeking a part-time Security Officer for afternoons to ensure the safety of patients, visitors and staff. You will monitor the facility, assist with directions, regulate traffic and parking, and report and investigate incidents.

The role requires maintaining certifications and completing training within specified timelines. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and Basic Security Officer

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six months of employment.
• Preferred: Associate degree in security or related field.
• Prior security experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of patients, visitors, and employees.
• Monitor facilities and assist with directions when asked.
• Regulate and control all traffic and parking as needed.
• Investigate and report accidents, hazards, and incidents.
• Restrain combative individuals when necessary.
• Complete required training and maintain current certifications.
