Job summary

ProMedica Security Officers ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff at our Toledo location. You will monitor facilities, assist with directions, and regulate traffic and parking as required. The role includes investigating incidents and restraining combative individuals when necessary.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record as demonstrated by MVR.
• Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six months of employment.
• Preferred: Associate degree in security or related field.
• Prior security experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall safety of patients, visitors, and employees.
• Monitor facilities and assist people with directions.
• Regulate and control all traffic; parking enforcement and traffic control as needed.
• Investigate and report accidents, hazards, and incidents.
• Restrain combative individuals as needed.
