Job summary

ProMedica Flower Hospital in Ohio is seeking Security Officers to safeguard patients, visitors, and staff. You will monitor the facility, guide people, and manage traffic and parking while enforcing safety rules.

The role requires completing the Basic Security Officer Certification (IAHSS) within six months, and a high school diploma with a valid driver’s license. Prior security experience is preferred, with per diem night shifts available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; valid driver#s license with clean MVR.
• Must complete Basic Security Officer Certification (IAHSS) within 6 months.
• Preferred: Associate degree in security or related field.
• Prior security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of patients, visitors and employees on facilities.
• Monitor facilities and assist with directions for where to go as needed.
• Regulate and control traffic and parking; enforce parking rules.
• Investigate and report accidents, hazards, and incidents.
• Restrain combative patients as needed.
