Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is seeking a security officer for 40 hours per week, Sunday-Thursday evenings. You will patrol assigned areas, enforce security regulations, and report hazards.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice preferred, a Class D Driver's License, and 3–5 years in hospital/security or related fields. You will document incidents and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice preferred.
• Licenses: Class D Driver's License (State License).
• Experience: 3–5 years in hospital/security/police/customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas and monitors for safety and security incidents.
• Investigates thefts, disturbances, and other incidents and notifies law enforcement as needed.
• Prepare and submit written reports; maintain logs and documentation.
• Dispatch and coordinate security responses using incident systems.
• Assist in medical emergencies and protect dignitaries as required.
• Participate in committees or task forces as needed.
