Job summary

Allied Universal in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Hospital Security Officer to safeguard a high-profile healthcare facility. You will patrol the premises, monitor surveillance and access, escort patients when needed, and respond calmly to emergencies to protect staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service experience, the ability to manage stressful situations, and is willing to undergo background checks and training; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required.
• Training and certification as needed (Management of Aggressive Behavior after offer).
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, security violations, and unauthorized individuals.
• De-escalate individuals verbally and physically as needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and staff to expedite admittance.
• Respond to incidents (fire, medical, bomb threats, weather) with calm urgency.
• May escort patients and transport deceased to morgue when required.
