Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Hospital Security Officer to protect a high-profile healthcare facility and staff. You will monitor premises, deter threats, and respond to emergencies with professional customer service.

Responsibilities include patrolling, screening visitors, and maintaining safety across the facility. Minimum requirements include prior customer-facing work, age 18+ (21+ for armed roles), and a background check and drug screen where applicable. Training completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and security violations.
• Orally and physically de-escalating individuals, as needed.
• Inspect all security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and client employees to expedite admittance to the facility.
• Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, floods, or hazardous situations with calm urgency.
• Provide patient escort or safety transport as required.
