Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.
• Post offer, training and Management of Aggressive Behavior certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, security violations, and unauthorized individuals.
• De-escalate individuals orally and physically as needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and client employees to expedite admittance to the facility.
• Respond to incidents (fire, medical, bomb threat, etc.) with calm urgency.
• May assist in patient escort or transport to morgue.
