Job summary
Allied Universal, the leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Awareness) in Houston, TX. You will protect clients across healthcare and other settings, perform routine patrols, and maintain a visible, welcoming security presence to support patients, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities include responding to incidents and emergencies, monitoring access, and documenting activities with precision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Be at least 18 (21+ for armed roles) as applicable.
- Background check in accordance with laws.
- Drug screen as applicable.
- Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
- Driver's license required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and policies.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and following site procedures.
- Conduct regular patrols of interior, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, directing individuals to proper services.
- Document incidents and patrol activity accurately and promptly.
