Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Security Officer to provide safety services across hospital and off-campus sites. You will operate weapons scanning equipment, enforce policies, monitor CCTV, and assist visitors and staff with safety and guidance.

Role requires state licensure, BLS certification, and a valid driver's license. The position offers a 36-hour weekly schedule with potential site rotation within the Protective Services department.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be mentally and physically capable to complete training and maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains weapons scanning equipment and enforces facility policies.
• Monitors CCTV and intervenes in escalated situations.
• Completes incident documentation and follows emergency procedures.
• May float to other locations as needed based on team availability and need.
