Job summary

You will support patients, visitors and staff, enforce policies, assist in the control center, monitor access to drugs, and participate in investigations.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Driver's license is required.
• OPOTC certification is required.
• Firearms certification or equivalent training is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides armed safety and security services across hospital areas and off-site locations.
• Observes, reports, and documents incidents; participates in investigations.
• Enforces hospital security policies and acts as first responder to emergencies.
• Assists with violent or potentially violent individuals and incidents.
• Maintains access control and protects drugs in hospital pharmacies.
