Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional - Unarmed for a hospital environment. Responsibilities include patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting. Applicants must meet a two-year relevant history and be able to obtain any local licenses. A TB test and vaccinations may be required per facility policy.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour. All shifts are available. This role supports patient safety and secure hospital operations, with opportunities for training and career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver's license required if operating company/customer vehicles.
• State/local licensing may be required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant security/customer service history.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to operate radio/console equipment and communicate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and observation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform hospital security patrols on foot or by vehicle and document observations.
• Assist staff with de-escalation and restraining when necessary.
• Transport patients to morgue as needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to emergency department.
• Assist evacuations during emergencies and disasters.
• Sound alarms and contact authorities for fires or intrusions.
• Deter rule infractions and verify authorized entrances/exits.
• Maintain logs and investigate incidents and accidents.
