Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed for a hospital setting in Leesburg, VA. The role involves unarmed patrols, control access, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting. TB tests and vaccinations may be required due to healthcare environment.

Roles available as full-time or part-time with daily pay options. Responsibilities include de-escalation, escorting patients, and assisting in evacuations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required to operate company vehicles.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• At least 2 years of verifiable work history in customer service or protective services.
• Must be 18 years of age or older where required by state.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and console monitors.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Problem solving and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or by vehicle and document observations.
• Assist staff with de-escalation and restrain when necessary following guidelines.
• Transport patients to the morgue as needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to ER.
• Assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and disasters.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire in emergencies.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
