Allied Universal in Los Angeles County is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed to perform hospital patrols and monitor access, CCTV, and alarms in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, reporting, and patient transport support as required. Requires a high school diploma, 3 years of healthcare security experience, and a valid driver’s license if driving. Full-time with benefits and paid training offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle.
• Minimum of three (3) years of verifiable employment history in customer service or protective services.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle; document observations.
• Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain as necessary.
• Transport patients to the morgue, as needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during emergencies.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department when needed.
• Monitor entrances and exits; ensure only authorized entry.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft of property.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs.
