Qualifications

• Prior work experience involving dealing with customers, troubleshooting, and/or managing stressful situations.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check as a condition of employment; drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Post-offer training and certification in Management of Aggressive Behavior.

Responsibilities

• Observe and stay vigilant for signs of crime, hazards, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check conditions and security compliance.
• De-escalate individuals verbally and physically as needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and staff to expedite admittance.
• Respond to incidents such as emergencies with calm urgency.
• Possibly escort patients, provide safety escorts, or assist transport to morgue.
