Job summary

Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Security Professional - Unarmed to patrol hospital grounds, enforce access control, monitor CCTV, and document observations. You’ll support staff and patients, deter security incidents, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and at least two years in a customer service or protective service role. TB testing and certain vaccinations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle.
• Must have 2+ years of verifiable employment in customer service or protective services.
• Active security license or licensing as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle.
• Document observations of security concerns or safety hazards.
• Assist staff with de-escalation and monitor for unsafe behavior.
• Transport patients as needed and escort from helicopter pads when required.
• Assist with evacuations during emergencies and notify authorities as needed.
• Monitor entrances/exits to prevent unauthorized access and contraband.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports.
