Job summary

Fort Washington Medical Center, operated by Adventist HealthCare, seeks a Security Officer to ensure safety for patients, staff, visitors and volunteers. The role includes patrolling, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a professional image of the hospital.

Requirements include a high school diploma, Maryland driver’s license, and security experience (hospital setting preferred). The position is variable part-time with weekend coverage and a pay range of $19.21–$24.90 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous security experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Must possess Maryland Driver's License.

• Ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, visitors, physicians and volunteers.
• Ensuring quality outcomes for security department by communicating effectively with security, staff and the public.
• Using time and resources in a financially responsible manner.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
