Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic's St. Mary Medical Center is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time Day Shift, including weekends (7:00 AM–4:00 PM).

You will help secure staff, patients and visitors, perform security rounds, and respond to incidents with care and professionalism. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, 1–2 years of hospital customer service experience, and may have prior hospital security experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• 1–2 years of hospital-based customer service experience.
• Prior hospital security officer experience preferred.
• Fingerprints and background check required during hiring.

Responsibilities

• Serve our customers and provide high quality service with care and courtesy.
• Report all accidents or incidents promptly.
• Take ownership for a safe, comfortable and clean environment.
• M ake appropriate safety and security rounds and monitor parking area.
• Provide escort services to visitors and assist motorists during breakdowns.
• Oversee security operations and assist with metal detector/Wanding duties.
