Experience includes 6–12 months of on-the-job security training or related coursework, with a preference for 1 year in security or public safety. A High School Diploma is required; an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of on-the-job security training or college curriculum in Administration of Justice.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• De-escalates agitated patients, both individually and as a member of a team.
• Prevents potentially risky and/or violent situations and maintains a safe environment.
