Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Hospital Security Officer to safeguard a high profile healthcare client. You will monitor premises, protect staff and visitors, and provide professional customer service.

Responsibilities include patrols, responding to emergencies, screening individuals, and de-escalating situations to maintain a safe environment. The role requires background checks and a valid driver's license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.
• Armed roles require 21+ years of age; unarmed roles require 18+.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and security violations.
• De-escalate individuals verbally and physically when needed; inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and staff to expedite admittance; respond to incidents calmly.
• Provide safety escort or transport deceased to morgue when required.
