Job summary

Highpoint Health - Riverview Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Security Officer. You will conduct routine rounds, secure designated areas during evenings, monitor the facility for incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with a professional presence.

Responsibilities include 1:1 observation support for behavioral health patients when needed, timely incident reporting, and following emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain Tennessee unarmed security licensure.
• Ability to complete state fingerprinting/background requirements and pre-employment screening.
• NCI/Handle With Care training within onboarding timeframe.
• Ability to document incident reports and 1:1 observations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine security rounds throughout the hospital.
• Perform building and door checks, ensure areas are secured during evening/night hours.
• Monitor the facility and respond to security incidents or hazards.
• Provide security assistance to staff, patients, visitors with a professional presence.
• Assist with bank runs and other security tasks.
• Provide 1:1 observation support for behavioral health patients when requested.
• Complete required incident reports and documentation.
