Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard patients, staff and visitors across all facilities. You will respond to incidents, file detailed reports, and coordinate with Reno Police and other agencies as needed.

The role requires knowledge of security procedures, strong customer service, and the ability to work flexible shifts in a hospital setting. Attainment of required certifications within specified timelines is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: A high school degree preferred; college degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
• Experience: 1 year in law enforcement/security desirable; healthcare security experience desirable.
• License(s): Valid state driver’s license; pass DMV criteria on hire.

Responsibilities
