Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Security Officer to protect staff, patients, and visitors. You will patrol premises, deter incidents, investigate and document findings, and respond to alarms and emergencies.

Requirements include two years of security or law enforcement experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, a CA Guard Card, and CPI certification within 30 days of hire. A CA driver license and strong communication/computer skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in security or law enforcement (preferred).
• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.
• Current Guard Card required; CPI certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve and safeguard all hospital customers and visitors.
• Surveil hospital premises and respond to incidents; observe and report incidents.
• Inspect doors, windows, and locks; ensure only authorized personnel enter.
• Write incident reports and document investigative steps and results.
