CommonSpirit Health's California Hospital Medical Center in downtown Los Angeles seeks a Security Officer to monitor buildings and grounds, protect staff, patients and visitors, and respond to emergencies with calm judgment. You will patrol by foot or vehicle, operate alarms, and document incidents according to hospital policy.

Prior security experience in healthcare is preferred and CPR/Fire Safety training are required.

Qualifikationen

• Six months of security officer experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CA driver's license required.
• CPR/BLS and Fire Safety training within specified timeframes.

Aufgaben

• Protect staff, patients, and visitors by responding to calls for assistance in a timely and prudent manner.
• Patrol the facility and grounds by foot or vehicle; monitor security alarms and dispatch officers promptly to location(s).
• Report unsafe acts or conditions and ensure incident reports are clear, concise, and submitted promptly.
• Respond to emergency codes in a timely manner and follow HIPAA reporting requirements.
