Valley Children's Healthcare is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors within a busy hospital setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma and BSIS Guard Card, BLS, and California Driver's License; healthcare security experience is a plus. You will conduct entry health screenings, monitor alarms and cameras, and respond to incidents with professional communication.

Formación

• Six months minimum security experience.
• Healthcare or hospital security experience preferred.
• Must read and write English; ability to follow verbal instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, patients, visitors, and contractors.
• Perform visitor screening and identify entry requirements.
• Respond to incidents using de-escalation techniques and the use-of-force policy.
• Operate surveillance systems and provide relief dispatch coverage as needed.
• Communicate professionally with guests, staff, and law enforcement; maintain confidentiality.
