Allied Universal is seeking a Hospital Security Officer to safeguard a high-profile healthcare client. You will monitor premises, deter threats, and provide professional customer service to staff, patients, and visitors in a dynamic health-care setting.

Responsibilities include patrolling, inspecting security devices, screening individuals, and responding to emergencies with composure. The role requires de-escalation skills and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include prior customer-facing experience.
• Background check required in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, security violations, and access control.
• Orally and physically de-escalate individuals as needed.
• Inspect all security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and client employees to expedite admittance to the facility.
• Respond to incidents such as fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, or hazardous materials with calm urgency.
• May provide patient escort or transport deceased to morgue as needed.
