Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly and promptly; notify staff and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and access control while remaining courteous and professional.
• Complete detailed reports and logs and communicate observations and maintenance concerns to leadership.
