Job summary

Baptist Health Paducah is seeking a PRN Security Officer to protect patients, staff and property on the main campus and related facilities. You will respond to calls, monitor access, and aid in maintaining a safe hospital environment.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain BLS within 3 months of hire. Use of Force certification and related training must be completed within 6 months, along with periodic fire safety checks

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Must obtain BLS within 3 months of hire and Use of Force certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Answers all calls for service and responds to inquiries.
• Investigates incidents and completes incident reports.
• Subdues and de-escalates high-stress situations.
• Performs monthly fire safety checks (extinguishers and exit signs).
• Conducts campus patrols and enforces parking and traffic control.
