Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• No prior experience required.
• Security education preferred, military or law enforcement experience helpful.
• Must obtain BLS, Aegis, and Taser 7 within 90 days; IA HSS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment through patrols, access control, monitoring and enforcing security policies.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, behavioral concerns and crisis situations; provide assistance and coordinate support.
• Escort patients, visitors and staff; operate helipad and support customer service activities.
• Conduct routine inspections, identify hazards and take corrective action to address safety concerns.
• Monitor CCTV and security equipment; investigate incidents and document findings.
• Maintain duty logs, incident reports and required documentation; support life safety and regulatory training.
