Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Security Officer to protect life and property on site and patrol hospital grounds in Southern Indiana/Louisville area. This PRN role works as needed with variable shifts and days.

Under supervision, you will unlock/secure buildings, respond to security needs of staff, patients, and visitors, and participate in performance improvement activities. Benefits and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year minimum experience in military, security, law enforcement, healthcare and/or IAHSS certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training.

Responsibilities

• Protect life and property on Baptist Health Floyd premises and patrol hospital buildings and grounds.
• Respond to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors.
• Secures, unlocks, and protects hospital buildings. Participates in performance improvement activities.
