Job summary

LifeBridge Health is seeking a Security Officer to assist in implementing the hospital's safety and security programs at Carroll Hospital Center. The role protects associates, patients, visitors, and property, and includes foot and motorized patrols, escorts, and enforcing parking regulations.

The position requires 1-3 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, fleet safety clearance, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (Learner's Permit or Provisional License cannot be accepted)
• Successful clearance by Fleet Safety Department to operate vehicles
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the hospital's safety and security programs.
• Maintain safety and security of associates, visitors, patients, buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Oversee parking regulations on hospital grounds and at related facilities.
• Provide assistance in handling combative or unruly individuals and intervene with minimal force.
• Perform foot and motorized patrols; provide escorts and vehicle assistance.
• Lead security duties on weekends and holidays as needed.
