Job summary

LifeBridge Health is seeking an experienced Security Department Manager to plan, organize, and oversee daily security operations across a campus facility. You will lead security staff, review incident reports, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and state laws.

The role requires active security certifications, several years of supervisory experience, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to maintain safety and asset protection.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in security supervisory roles; 5+ years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Current Healthcare Security Officer Certification.
• IAHSS Supervisor Certification required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily operations of the Security Department for the assigned facility.
• Direct deployment of staff based on operational needs and coordinate equipment.
• Review and approve security reports; monitor attendance and leave of staff.
• Respond to major incidents and enforce hospital policies and laws.
• Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders for security projects and events.
