Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Safety & Security Officer to protect patients, staff and visitors across our California clinics. You will patrol facilities, respond to incidents, document events, and enforce access control with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, a current CA Guard Card, 1 year security experience, and a valid CA driver’s license. Travel between sites and occasional after-hours work are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current California Guard Card required.
• 1 year security officer or similar work experience preferred.
• Valid California driver license required; auto insurance maintained.
• Bilingual skills preferred; healthcare/public safety background is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Conduct high-visibility security patrols across clinics and parking areas to deter incidents and report hazards.
• Respond promptly to incidents involving patients, staff, or visitors; document actions thoroughly.
• Enforce access control policies and screen visitors in a respectful, culturally sensitive manner.
• Escort patients and staff as needed; maintain safety and cleanliness in work areas.
• Prepare Security Event Log entries promptly after incidents or observations.
