Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security experience.
• Vaccinations required for hospital assignments.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Preferred: ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred: CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and surrounding perimeter.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and guiding patients, visitors, and staff.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate information to site leadership and responders.
