Job summary

Allied Universal in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Behavioral Response) to protect patients, visitors and staff in healthcare and other settings. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points and respond calmly to incidents using site protocols.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Be able to restrain individuals.
CPR certification is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check will be conducted as required by law.
Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations following site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, facility wayfinding, and reporting suspicious activity.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities and communicate relevant information to supervisors.
