Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Hospital Patient Observation in Baltimore, MD. You will provide security support, monitor access, and respond to incidents in a healthcare environment, ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff.

The position requires at least one year of security experience, hospital vaccination compliance, and the ability to restrain individuals if needed.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, assist with visitor directions, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.
