Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Hospital Site Patrol in Baltimore, MD to monitor and safeguard patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting. The role emphasizes customer service, visibility, and adherence to site policies.

You will perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and respond calmly to incidents and emergencies while maintaining detailed incident reports and logs. This is a full-time position with shifts including days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Ability to restrain individuals.
• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare or medical-related field.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical-support requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, assisting with directions and access-related questions as needed.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
