Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Vaccination as required for hospital employment.
• Ability to restrain individuals as required.
• Two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies in a calm, professional manner per protocols.
• Conduct unarmed patrols in healthcare facilities, grounds, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and directing visitors and staff.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain documentation of security activities.
