Allied Universal Security Services is seeking a Hospital Security Officer at a Medical Center in Framingham, MA. This full-time role includes weekday hours with weekends, and a starting pay rate of $21.07 per hour plus paid orientation.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED, or 5 years of verifiable experience; a background check and drug screen apply. Candidates must be 21+ for armed roles and 18+ for unarmed.

Qualifications

• Background check will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.

• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles, depending on position.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, security violations, and unauthorized individuals.
• De-escalate situations orally and physically as needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and client employees to facilitate entry.
• Respond to incidents such as fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and weather events.
• May include patient escort, patient watch, and transport of deceased to morgue.
