Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for a healthcare setting in the Boston/Quincy area. The role focuses on safeguarding patients, visitors, and staff, while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities include routine patrols, access control, incident response, and accurate reporting. This full-time position offers paid orientation and training and a starting pay of $19.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation is required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors and staff per site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and report/escalate per procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and directing visitors or staff as needed.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and communicate with site leadership.
